I'd like to start by saying that I like that people find my photos good enough to use other places. I mean, it makes me feel like I've achieved something as a photographer, but I do feel this might be the time to set down a few "rules" about how I'd like to be credited and permission to use my (copyrighted) photos.

1. Please ask for permission to use my photo elsewhere. This is not only if you want to use them as a base for a manipulation, icons, etc, but also if you want to display them as a background image.

You can contact me either over here, over email (margrethe dot johnsen at lyse dot net), over Livejournal (mercurygrrl, which is my personal journal) or the different IMs services I use.

2. Credit is a must.
